Become our course Model

At 13 Nails Academy, we regularly look for models for our training courses. This is a great opportunity to receive a professional manicure for free, while helping our students practise and develop their skills.

All treatments are carried out by students under the close supervision of the educator, who guides and checks the work throughout the process.

Appointments for training models can take up to 3 hours, as students are learning and working carefully through each step of the manicure.

What to Expect

During training sessions, the shape, colour, and design of the nails may be chosen according to the course program, as students practise specific techniques.

Possible designs may include:
• Nude
• Nude with glitter
• Chrome / powder (rub effect)
• French manicure
• Bright gel polish colours

If you would like a specific design, we recommend contacting us in advance to check which training day would be most suitable for your booking.

Students will perform the full manicure process, including removal (if needed), nail preparation, shaping, product application, and finishing.

You are welcome to arrive with existing product on your nails, as this can help students practise the full procedure.

In some cases, we may ask you to send a photo of your current nails before confirming your appointment to ensure they are suitable for the training.

Deposit

A £15 deposit is required to secure your model appointment.

The deposit will be fully refunded after your manicure appointment.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance.

• Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the appointment – deposit will be refunded.
• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment – deposit is non-refundable.
