About Us

13Nails Academy is a nail training academy based in Manchester City Centre, created from the experience and standards of 13Nails Studio. We built the academy to offer high-quality education in a warm, friendly and supportive environment where every student feels comfortable and confident to learn.

Our focus is on clean, tidy manicures, attention to detail and professional standards, so our students can stand out and feel proud of their work. We also teach the importance of hygiene, client care and delivering a beautiful service from start to finish.

Over time, more than 100 students have trained with us and many have gone on to start working in the nail industry. Some of our strongest students may also have the opportunity to potentially work with our team at 13Nails Studio.

Our cosy training space in the heart of Manchester allows us to keep groups small and give each student plenty of hands-on practice and personal guidance. All students receive accredited certification, and we keep our standards high while maintaining a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

 

About the Founder

The academy was founded by Lena, the owner of 13Nails Studio and an experienced nail educator with 6 years in the industry. Lena is known for her attention to detail, love for clean manicures, and her calm, supportive teaching style.

She is motivated, energetic and genuinely passionate about helping others grow. Lena believes that everyone can achieve their goals with the right guidance, practice and support, and she is always happy to share everything she knows with her students.

By creating the academy, she wanted to build a place where people feel encouraged, inspired and confident — not only learning techniques, but also believing in their own potential and building a career they love.
